已过不惑之年的马赫穆特（Muzaffer Özdemir 饰）是一名来自土耳其乡村的独立摄影师，经过多年打拼他终于在伊斯坦布尔某的一席之地，在和妻子分手后，他独自过着平静而自在的生活。某日，来自老家的表弟尤瑟夫（Emin Toprak 饰）闯入了马赫穆特的世界。老家工厂倒闭让内向的尤瑟夫丢掉工作，为了贴补家用并给母亲治病，他独自来到大都市闯荡，在此期间暂居表兄的公寓中。多年的分离和不同的生活轨迹让这对表兄弟没有任何共同语言，而马赫穆特却越来越厌烦尤瑟夫对他个人世界的侵扰，一份尴尬在兄弟间悄然而生…… 本片荣获2003年伊斯坦布尔国际电影节土耳其最佳年度导演和最佳年度影片以及国际影评人费比西奖；2003年戛纳电影节评委会大奖，两位男主角双双荣膺影帝称号。。When he learns his days are numbered old count Hervé de Kéraudren decides to hide in a secret alcove and to die there, just to annoy his heirs. As a result of his body not being found the latter will have to wait for five years until they can inherit the count's money. Very upsetting indeed, all the more as they are required to keep up the Kéraudren estate in the meantime. To collect money, nephews and nieces organize a Son et Lumière show at the manor while busily looking for the missing corpse. But, unexpectedly, they get killed in turns. Murders or accidents? Jean-Marie, his fiancée Micheline and his cousin Edwige investigate and finally succeed in exposing the culprit.
