三个少男少女Adam、Kai和Mira在一座地堡里醒来，对于自己的经历毫无印象。他们共同穿越迷宫般的古怪城镇、神奇的时空传送门，面对危险的野兽和诡异的人物。这三个陌生人被迫团结起来寻找回家的路。。该片根据作家本多孝好的人气小说改编，导演由曾执导《未来预想图》（2007）的导演蝶野博掌镜。故事讲述了一个五口之家，父亲是小偷，母亲是结婚欺诈师，另外还有收养的3个孩子。某天，母亲在与目标男外出吃饭准备欺诈之时，不料被对方识破“欺诈计划”，随即将母亲绑架索要赎金，为了救出母亲，没有血缘关系的一家人想尽了各种办法……。在小镇上，一个年轻人游手好闲无所事事，于是他决定去纽约碰碰运气。影片讲述了1925年发生在美国西部牛仔的故事，风格搞笑幽默。 A young man who doesn't find a job in his small hometown, tries his luck in New York, but is overwelmed by the life of the city, so decides to try his luck somewhere else after a only a few minutes in New York. He falls off a train near a ranch, where he tries his luck as a cowbowy, being in his own way very sucessful. But he shows what he can do when the farm has to bring a 100 head of cattle to the slaughterhouses of Los Angeles to avoid going bankrupt, against the will of his neighbour who wants a better price. After a shoot-out with the neighbour's men he's the only person on a Los Angeles bound train with 1000 cows....。
